The Guitar Show 2026: A Celebration of Music, Gear & Community

Celebrates a Buzzing Weekend

Our team enjoyed a fantastic weekend at The Guitar Show in Birmingham this past February, showcasing NU-X across two busy days packed with musicians, gear enthusiasts, retailers, and industry professionals.

With the event drawing a sold-out crowd, the atmosphere was electric from the moment the doors opened. Our NU-X stand was buzzing throughout the weekend, with visitors keen to get hands-on with the latest NU-X amps, guitar effects pedals, studio equipment, and a selection of Chord guitars.

There was particularly strong interest around three standout NU-X products: the Dual Loop Stereo Pedal, the Amp Academy Stomp Pedal, and the B-8 Wireless System. Visitors spent the weekend putting the gear through its paces, exploring everything from creative looping and amp modelling to wireless performance setups.

The NU-X Dual Loop Stereo Pedal attracted plenty of attention from solo performers, songwriters, and live players looking for a powerful looping solution. With dual independent loop tracks, phrase memories, rhythm options, and flexible control features, it proved to be a real talking point for players wanting to build fuller, more dynamic live performances.

The Amp Academy Stomp pedal also generated a strong response, offering guitarists a compact but feature-packed amp modelling and effects platform. Its combination of realistic amp tones, flexible signal chains, IR loading, onboard effects, and practical live control made it a popular stop for visitors looking to upgrade their pedalboard or streamline their rig.

Meanwhile, the B-8 Wireless System created plenty of buzz among players looking for freedom on stage without compromising tone or reliability. Designed as a complete pedal-based wireless solution, the B-8 impressed attendees with its practical feature set, including rechargeable transmitter operation, digital audio performance, onboard tuner, effects loop, and flexible output options.

Alongside the NU-X range, the Chord Nomad series proved to be another standout at the stand. The Black Quilted, Ebony, and Koa finishes drew consistent praise from visitors, with many commenting on the craftsmanship, playability, and premium aesthetics of the guitars.

The weekend was a brilliant opportunity for us to connect directly with musicians and customers, gather feedback, and showcase the growing strength of the NU-X and Chord ranges in a lively, hands-on environment.

A huge thank you to everyone who visited us over the weekend, tried the gear, asked questions, and shared their enthusiasm. We really appreciate the fantastic response.
