Thank you for choosing av:link PJM620 ceiling projector bracket. This bracket allow device up to 8kg in weight to be mounted on ceiling safely. Designed to be easily installed and supplied with all required installation hardware.

  • This product contains small components that could be choking hazard if swallowed, please keep away of reach from Children.
  • This product is designed for mounting on concrete or plastered ceiling. Always ensure the mounting surface will be capable to withstand the combined weight of the bracket and device, reinforcement may require for aged or weak ceiling.
  • Safety gear such as glove and safety goggles must be worn during the installation. Minimum of two people are required throughout the installation, failure to do so may result in injury or damaged property.
  • This product is design for indoor use only, joint parts must be inspected at minimum of every two month for loose joint or aged parts.

Installation

For this installation you will also require pencil, tape measurer, electric drill, stud finder and Philip (cross) screw driver.

Step 1– Assemble.

  1. Slide the outer drop pole over the inner drop pole and fit the nylon and metal grip as show in fig 1 below.
  2. Connect the outer drop pole to the ceiling mount as show in fig 2 below. The tapped square washer goes inside of the outer drop pole and screwed through the slit and screw hole as shown.
  3. Connect the inter section to the inner drop pole as show in fig 3. Ensure the star washer goes between the inter section and inner drop pole.

Step 2 – Fixing Ceiling bracket.

For concrete ceiling installation first of all work out the position of the installation. While holding the ceiling bracket against the ceiling use pencil to mark where the mounting holes will be and use an electric drill to drill a hole that is around 7/16” (10.5mm) wide and 2”(50mm) deep. Insert the wall mounting plug into the hole and install the ceiling bracket as following.

For Plastered ceiling installation first of all you need to find out where the wood stud is behind the ceiling using a stud finder. Then work out the position of the installation. While holding the ceiling mount against the ceiling use pencil to mark where the mounting holes will be and use an electric drill to drill a hole that is around 1/8” (3mm) wide and 2” (50mm) deep. Install the ceiling bracket as following.

Step 3 – Slide the bracket arm in and out until the mount holes are lined up with the projector, used supplied M4, M5 or M6 screw and plastic spacer to fit the projector on to the bracket. Hook the projector mount on to the drop pole as show below. Adjust back/forth/side tilt, Pan, and drop angle until desire position is achieved, lock the position up by tightening the hex screw use supplied allen key.
