Safety
- Always make sure that you are connecting to the proper mains supply voltage.
- This product is intended for indoor use only. It must be connected to an earthed mains outlet.
- To prevent risk of fire or shock, do not expose fixture to rain or moisture. Keep away from flammable materials.
- The unit must be installed in a location with adequate ventilation, at least 20cm from adjacent surfaces.
- Ensure that no ventilation slots are obstructed.
- Always disconnect from power source before servicing or replacing fuse and replace with same fuse size and type.
- Maximum ambient temperature is 40°C. Do not operate the fixture at higher temperatures.
- In the event of a serious operating problem, stop using the unit immediately. Never try to repair the unit by yourself.
- Repairs and servicing must be carried out by qualified service personnel only.
- Make sure the power cord is in good condition and not damaged.
- Never disconnect the power cord by pulling or tugging on the cord.
- Avoid direct eye exposure to the light source while it is on.
Installation
Always ensure that the unit is firmly fixed using the end brackets provided.
Always ensure that the structure to which you are attaching the unit is secure and is able to support the unit’s weight.
It is always advisable to use a safety cable when installing at height in a public place.
Operation
Connect the UV bar to an appropriate mains outlet, ensuring the correct voltage and that cables are in good condition.
Use the in-line power switch to switch power on or off.
Disconnect from mains power when not in use.
